Another Day, Another Donut

So Peter and Paul lost a good friend. One could say we all lost a good friend. Mary Travers from peter paul and mary has passed away.

I grew up thanks to my mom primarily listening to them in the car. It was probably an 8 track which later moved onto a tape and then onto a CD. It wasn’t necessarily puff the magic dragon or blowing in the world it was songs like Lemon Tree that did it for me. Not sure why just the way it is. So when I hear PP&M it brings me back to my youth a little bit.

Well things are looking up so to speak. I put Harrison to bed tonight, and he went to bed without his pacifier. Baby E seems to be smiling a bit more when I hold him. Life as they say is good.

9/11
I hate to tell you all this but people have forgotten. I will never forget, I am disturbed that people have forgotten. See it was 9/10/2001 I was out of work and was watching the Giants play the Broncos on Monday night, a game in which the punter just blasted the ball getting ready to start a new job which was delayed about a month. Anyhow my point is people have gotten soft, our government has gotten soft. Tomorrow on the eve of 9/11 I will be watching a football game as well, I just hope that the every 8 year scenario we don’t get attacked. I mean what has this world come to. Our new president has decided to go after our own CIA, and honestly its not safe to have an opinion that really counts, I mean you will be called a racist or something else in this world. People have got to come to grips with idealistic vs realistic. Life to me

Allright enough from me that was free flow verbiage.

So, I was talking to the wifey, and was reading her blog at the same time when I realized, I truly have nothing interesting to write. She is the writer of the group. If I am writing about sports its one thing. If I am writing for work thats another thing.

In no way do I have any unique quality. I find it hard to write about my family, and my kids light up my life. Is there truly anything more I need to say. Plus I have the greatest wife in the whole world. Plus she captures life in her verbiage like a picture. Have you ever read this womens blog?? How in the world she has never written a childrens book or a novel at this point in my life I will never know??

Well I will attempt to put hand to keyboard and write about me, but generally nothing funny comes out. I am to witty for my own good, I am to sarcastic for my own good, and most of the time things I have to say truly need my mute button which I have used. If you only new my true feelings on the current healthcare situation. Or if you truly new how many times my dogs have woken me up and I have watched redeye at 3AM?

Well maybe I will start writing again. So here are the things I am psyched about. 1. Spending the rest of my vaca with the family. 2. Fantasy football and the football season in General. 3. Starting of hoops again. 4. The end of the obama administration, and yes the past 7 month’s have been that bad.

In this day and age, it truly does seem to me that all people are nutz. I often wonder if I am nutz. Now, understand the following, i am not a racist. However I should have been a racist. This article has sparked my fury This Rev Jeremiah Wright the former Pasteur of our president essentially has just said enough.

What even gets my goat even more is that our president will not denounce this type of talk. Its amazing how people can say the Jews are ethnically cleansing folks, but they won’t say the same about the Palestinians? Or how he can call others names. Well Jeremiah some day your chickens will come home to roost, and I a do hope its sooner rather then later.

So, the wifey has done a wonderful job keeping her blog updated and I was glad to see our main site got updated.. Myself, I still am not 100% into it, but all is good so to speak. I am actually sitting in the airport, getting ready to meet some co-workers that I have worked with over the past 10 monhts or so.

Should be a fun journey to actually put faces with names, or to connect voices.

Its all good, it dawned on me that I really don’t know anyone going into this. SO Should I be nervous. I mean its not like I am not a free spirit who just talks to everyone (I am). I do have a good ole buddy down there which I am hoping to connect with. But I will say its atlanta in June?? I mean atlanta in June, its hotter then well I won’t go there.

As for life itself all is well. I got 2 amazing kids and what can be said for my wife.

Quick H story, its 550AM or so, and I hear him thru the monitor. So I go in there he says daddy potty and again he went on the potty. This is starting to become more commonplace with him. The only downside of his potty where his pants got a little wet, but no biggie, its the thought that really matters. The kid does good thats for sure.

As for E, he is good, well as long as he is with mommy. He can get a little fuss when not near his mommy, but its all good.

Allright, only about an hour or so to takeoff so I should log off, put my PC away and get some food in the ole system.

So I haven’t posted in forever, yet here I am on another early AM Conference call listening to people dial in so I figured what the heck. So I don’t seem to post to frequently anymore, but I am not ready to let the blog go. I know someday my writing mojo will be back. So let’s do some catchup.

First of all family – we had another baby and you can see all about that on the wifey’s blog she is much better with catching the details of the little guy. Our H is awesome and now our E is also awesome. Everyone is getting better everyday and starting to fall into somewhat of a routine, now if I could just get the darn dogs to fall into a routine.

Well thats all i got for now, but i hope to find my writing mojo and get this going again.

Sports — well i am frusturated with sports especially my teams. First and foremost the devils and marty broderu (WTF) enough said on the sports topic.

Politics — well my biggest fear has come true, obama has officially ruined my kids lives, but I know with hard work and perseverance we won’t blame this president like many folks have done for the past 8 years. We will find creative solutions to the problems that this president has and continues to create.

Well for now, I will say good afternoon, good evening and goodnight just in case I don’t see you.

Seems like I have been posting alot about Barrack Hussein Obama. Recently in this article he had this to say. In remarks at the White House, Obama argued that recalcitrant lawmakers need to get behind his approach, saying “the American people embraced his ideas when they elected him president in November.”

See this is what I don’t understand. Weren’t his ideas hope and change, or change and hope? During the campaign I never heard one word from Obama around what his idea’s were. It also sounds to me that his thoughts of listening and governing to all really hasn’t had much of an effect that its all about his party. Well President Barrack Hussein Obama these scare tactics that you use are no better then the republicans with the sky is falling of the last administration.

And to go back to my original hypothesis the only idea I ever heard him say during the campaign was Socialism, something about healthcare, and finally talking to terrorists states, also great letter you sent to Iran now they want an apology.

So I have been thinking lots about the world we live in today. What I truly realize is that all of us as people as a nation our at a crossroads. But what is the crossroads that we are at.

I think as a country we have lost our civility towards others. Its as simple as this, I saw a youtube this morning of an inauguration party where hey decided to get a bush card board cutout and threw shoes at it.

I am not going to post it because is disgraceful.

As for Obama Dick Morris has a great column around Obama and socialism and facts around the issue. Now, i know Dick Morris worked for clinton and has recently written a top notch book called fleeced.

So America, so the blogging world. If we are headed for Socialism I just have one favor for you. Please make sure my mortgage is paid on time. Please buy me a new car, and most importantly make sure my kids get a reasonably priced college education.

I have heard a lot of people tell me I should be excited that Barack Hussein Obama is going to be the next president of the United States. On the eve of his inauguration people are excited. People believe that his hope and change message is going to do something.

Why do I fully believe I am a non believer. It might be the skeptic in myself it might be I just don’t like what the guy stands for.

So couple things you might be saying why didn’t I call this inauguration historical. Well Martin Luther King had a dream that all men were created equal that we should look past the color of the skin, etc. So Barack Hussein Obama is just another man. I don’t see color so therefore he is just a man entering into the presidency folks.

Why hasn’t there been any outrage over the cost of Barack Hussein Obama’s inauguration. I mean we are in a recession, i mean that is what Mr. Obama’s newspapers tell us everyday. He himself recently said that its going to get worse. Maybe just maybe if they took that 175 Million that they are spending on the inauguration and give each citizen 50K maybe then we can solve some problems.

Common sense has never been whats going on in DC, and i am afraid that’s the hope and change we need not the music lessons from Beyonce or whomever has played the last few days.

So Barack Hussein Obama I am skeptical, you have to make me a believer, and the first thing I suggest is some common sense.

Hell one of the campagin promises that our president elect had saidis that he wants to talk to Iran, North Korea, etc.

I just hope that maybe he will bring change, but I know it can’t happen especially if you have dialec with people who want you dead.
